I used their service for six months. The cleaners only came on the day that we first agreed on once--there was always an excuse, someone called off or their kid was sick. Items were routinely skipped on the cleaning, trash wasn't always taken out. When interviewing for the position, they said they were pet friendly, but shut my cats up in a closet twice and closed the door to the room with the kitty litter another time. I could not be more displeased with the service.

I interviewed companies before hiring Donna's House Cleaning Service. When I had complaints, which was 5 out of the 6 times they cleaned(?) for me, I never got to speak with Donna. She is not even professional enough to handle complaints or return phone calls. Kim is a wonderful sales person and very nice to talk to - seemed to be working to help each time (5 out of 6) I had comments/complaints. After the initial DEEP cleaning they had to come back to do the stovetop, window sills and a few other basic cleaning items. I do not understand how employees have time to make a second trip, but they don't have time to do it correctly the first time! Well, they told me - she doesn't have enough experienced help, so they are pushed through each house quicker. The ONE time I felt that my house had been cleaned thoroughly I called and spoke with Kim to let her know I was pleased. I thought they were finally getting the system down and from then on it would that way. However, that was the 4th out of 6 times, and ONLY time that happened. The basics are what I'm talking about - stove top was still greasy, drip pans where not moved on stop top and wiped under, vacuuming, dusting, bathroom floors still dirty, items on countertops were not moved and cleaned under and behind. After the last cleaning, I called and talked with Kim and was told I would receive a 100% refund and she apologized for all the difficulty I had experienced. Nothing came. I called and was told Donna would only refund $50...nothing came. I called repeatedly to talk with DONNA and never got the courtesy of a return call. Finally, I received a letter that she could not refund anything but would discount my NEXT cleaning 20%. Why on earth would I want to pay this company one more penny? and neither should anyone else. She is a very poor business person when she cannot step up to the plate and deal with dissatisfied customers and feel absolutely OK taking unearned money.

The service people arrived 1-2 hours late every time with different explanations as to why (e.g. traffic, "we're the only ones working today," or "i'm by myself today"). After finally arriving, the house was cleaned very well the first time. The second visit, part of the house was cleaned wonderfully while some areas were completely missed. My call was promptly returned, and someone was sent out to clean the missed areas a week later. This individual worked very hard but admitted that she did not have all of the proper tools required to do her best job. In summary, I think most of the workers try to do a good job. They might be overbooked so have to rush and show up late to each job (just guessing). However, the bottom line is that the quality of work done is inconsistent making them unreliable.

Poor service. They are unreliable. Will say they are coming and then don't show up. Inconsistent in their quality of cleaning due to their turn off in staff. When a problem arrived with damages to my belongings the owner refused to return my call after I called numerous times and talked with her office help. Used them for years but am very disappointed in the way they handled problems. I do not recommend them due to their unprofessional way of handling problems.
